Description: As writers, we can get stuck in a rut. And sometimes, the blank page stares, and all we can do is stare back. This weekend is about experimentation—new possibilities, new shells. Yes, we’re talking hermit crabs. Here too, we practice genre-bending and mixing it up with form, structure, voice, and tense to open us up, get the work flowing, and create work we didn’t even know we had in us.
Dates: FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 4–6 pm PT / 7–9 pm ET, SATURDAY & SUNDAY, APRIL 25 & APRIL 26, 11 am–1 pm PT / 2–4 pm ET

Sign up for the Caravan’s Exquisite Corpse Experience!
The poetic form known as an exquisite corpse is literally a poem building itself, one line, one stanza at a time. Each participant responds to a single line—without seeing any of the lines that preceded it—until there exists a completed poem with anywhere from a dozen to two dozen authors.
The results will be published in our first Monday newsletter of May. By participating in this experiment, you are automatically entered into our grand prize drawing at the end of the month. Prizes include fabulous freebies like
